Purely a personal choice. I think that the dark ones look slightly better.

My truck is sport red. More of a maroon metallic

There is different colors of red my guy! I guess I should have said color code.but either way dark is the way to go.

I put the clear ones on mine,it's tan on gold and I love them they really light up well!
