That’s called the chiller. I have it on my car.Yeah, you better be careful. Your Challenger isn't that far removed from a Durango (Unibody, blown Hemi, 8 speed, RWD based). Don't want to call it a chopped and channelled minivan! LOL! BTW, I worked with the SRT boys to develop a freon cooled intercooler for the Hellcat that would use A/C freon to cool the intake charge. It made more power but was too complicated for production use. The intercooler housing looked good sitting on my desk though.
This uses the A/C freon to cool the coolant going to the intercooler. Ours actually replaced the heat exchangers in the supercharger housing. That’s called the chiller. I have it on my car.
It was part of the redeye package. So what you worked on made it to production. Below is a pic of the screen to activate it (not my car googled it)

The last redeyes had the intercooler chiller, race cooldown mode, and torque reserve (builds boost before launch, sounds really neat like a 2-step) as the latest stuff.
Also the generic stuff like line lock and launch control.
BtW the chiller works great. Here is a picture on my car with the chiller activated after the intercooler coolant was hot. It drops fast.

All the Latest Gen Big Utes from GM tow at least 7300lbs.The Pilot can tow 5000 lbs. A Unibody Dodge Durango can tow 8700 lbs so the whole body on fame thing is a moot point. Either way, the vast majority will never even leave the pavement. BTW, my Yukon XL can only tow 6000 lbs
Funny you mention that. Saw a R/T go by yesterday towing a 2 axle RV trailer. Looked just fine! My neighbor used to tow a 5500 lb horse trailer from Wisconsin to Florida several times a year with her 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi. Never had an issue. That is funny, all this talk about other vehicles. I have been looking at a new Durango with the 6.4 engine. My 2021 Suburban HC just turned 100,000 miles and with the recalled motor and already having replaced the trans at 80,000 miles, I am starting to look. I only tow about 6,000 lbs, fully loaded, so that won't be a problem. I like the size of the Durango. A smaller Suburban but faster. I like the 6.2 power but we will see.
That's a good deal.A friend has 2 Durango's that he purchased a couple years ago. One is a special one, just below the Hellcat. I saw that Dodge was going to be offering an R/T Launch Edition with the 475 hp 6.4 motor and start around $49,000. I might go see if I can drive one.
