Absolutely horrible MPG with AC

Maybe it’s just me with gas being 665 a gallon where I live. I’m noticing when I run the air conditioning I can just watch the needle drop as I’m driving!

I would change your brand of fuel. I got horrible mileage on a tank of Shell awhile back.

I run my A/C 365 days a year as I never drive with the windows open and get decent mileage..I recently got 24 MPG on a run from Miami-NYC. If it all stop and go it is more like 14-16 MPG. I burn either Mobil-Exxon or Sunoco. I only use 87 octane.

Might be time for a new compressor. You have to quantify it and not just say it's horrible. I had an old 1980s Buick that got 2 mpg better with the AC off.
