On my 03 Tahoe, the remote transmitters quit working, however, I'm pretty sure it's not the transmitter that's not working. Replaced battery and tried to resynch but can't get the system to go into programming mode. While holding down the unlock button, the locks will recycle before I can turn key on and off twice. The horn also beeps during this. Even though I have tried to hold both buttons on the transmitters after this, nothing happens. I suspect a faulty receiver. I think it's up in the dash behind the radio. It has been hard to find any good info on this on youtube or google. I did find someone suggesting to pull a DSM fuse for about 20 minutes and trying again, but that didn't work either. (Couldn't find one marked DSM, but did find one called LOCKS(Power Door Lock System) At any rate, looking for more info on this. The buttons work fine, so my guess is that this receiver tells the actuators what to do when it gets the signal from the transmitter, and therefore is a pretty confused receiver at this point. Any suggestions?

The receiver is in the passenger door window switch. Will need either reprogrammed or replaced. I got a reman one from dorman but it was flaky too. Lock worked but unlock was random. I suggest a new AC Delco switch and a dealer program to get it working again.
