The RPO chart I have says the 922 RPO for model year 2002 is Neutral Pewter so I don't know for sure. I painted the sides of my console with the SEM and it's real close but if I put the pieces next to the dash it's just a bit different, just enough to be noticed.

Have you thought about spraying the air bag also? Dashes do fade some over time. Where did you get your too chart from? The listi have is my form from the school I went to, not GM.

Yeah I thought about that but my body shop friend said I shouldn't but I never asked why. If I do, guess I'll just paint everything that touches the dash like the glovebox, airbag, end covers etc.

Bought 2 cans of the SEM 17163 Med Dark Pewter today. That along with the half can I already have should cover the dash and accompanying pieces. Looks like I'm painting soon.

Went back and bought the SEM Adhesion Promoter today after looking at their website. I only want to do this once. Clean first, scotchbrite, clean again, adhesion promoter, then paint. Hope that does it.

Def need some before and after pics .
Last night I pulled everything in about 30 minutes, and decided to leave the airbag and the part that surrounds the glovebox in place. Got those painted last night and washed everything else so today I'm doing the rest. These are before pics except the last one.

Well this turned into work. I thought I could just scuff the dash, feather the edges of the peeling and repaint but after I put the first coat on, I saw it bubbling a bit at those areas so I decided to strip the whole thing. Most of it came off by just rubbing it with my fingers. Some I used a heat gun on low, and some was real stubborn and I had to use denatured and scotchbrite pads. Some before and during pictures:
