SOLVED: extremely high pitched, intermittent, electronic sound

Where is the ground that needs cleaning? I'm having the same issue with my '10 Yukon SLT. Always get worse when it's cold/raining (basically half the year or more). I also just lost use of my Menu and first preset buttons on the head unit... not sure if that's related. This thing has more...

    Rear DVD Screen Dead

Hey all, First off, I apologize if this has been covered in another post. I tried searching and didn't find anything about this for GMT900s. I bought my 200k 2010 Yukon SLT early last year, so my knowledge of it's history is limited. Ever since we bought it, the rear, ceiling-mounted DVD...

    Phone Mount Location?

I love how clean the ProClip mounts are, but I can't justify $80. Finances are tight and, if I'm completely honest, running without a mount doesn't really suck. My phone fits in the recessed area of the center console cover.

    Phone Mount Location?

Yeah, I've considered going with a vent clip style. That thing holds on tight, doesn't fall off the vent or drop the phone? My cup holders are almost always in use. We never go anywhere without drinks (non-alcoholic of course). LOL

    Phone Mount Location?

Hey all, I've had my 2010 Yukon for over a year now and I still can't decide where to put my phone mount. I've got the suction cup style which I've put on the dash in previous cars. I just don't really want to this time because it tends to damage the dash. I'm getting close to saying screw it...

    Engine 'Stumbles' When When Accelerating

I can't believe I missed the air filter. I got a new K&N swapped in and she's running much better. When it drops a gear it just goes now. She's still running a bit rough so I'll clean the MAF sensor this weekend. I also get a faint ticking occasionally, so I'm really hoping that's not lifters.

    Engine 'Stumbles' When When Accelerating

Shoot, I knew I was forgetting something. Plugs and wires replaced in the past year as well. o2 sensors are unknown. It's been a busy year and I took care of as much as I could after buying her.

    Engine 'Stumbles' When When Accelerating

I have been thinking about doing the air filter. It doesn't look too bad but it's also pretty cheap. I'll look into just replacing the MAF. I'd love a tune but don't really know what all goes into doing that... seems like it would be expensive. Sorry for not giving more details on my servicing...

    Engine 'Stumbles' When When Accelerating

geez, sorry I guess I missed a space at the worst time. *hit it, not what they thought i said. Crank and cam sensors aren't too spendy, so I guess I could try that. But shouldn't I get a check engine light if they are bad? I think I have cleaned the MAF sensor but it's been a year so I could...

    Engine 'Stumbles' When When Accelerating

My 2010 Yukon SLT 5.3 has a weird issue that I haven't been able to find anything online that's exactly the same. When I'm approaching an on-ramp and I hit the gas, sometimes I can feel the transmission downshift, then the engine revs up and starts to accelerate, but then it just... pauses for a...

    Parking Brakes Need Replaced

Thanks everyone for the input. I must admit that I'm not much of a brakes guy (especially not drum) and wasn't aware of an adjustment to make on the shoes themselves. I thought it was just the cable. I'll have to check that. @OR VietVet - Typically quite true about not really having rust issues...

    Parking Brakes Need Replaced

I bought my 2010 Yukon about a year ago and it's never had hardly any parking brakes since I've had it. The pedal has tension, so I think the cable is pulling and I'm guessing the shoes need replaced (not surprising at nearly 200k). I've been planning on replacing them but since they are under...

    Brake Pedal Squeaks!

Sorry for going silent. I apparently don't get notifications from here. I actually saw your post right after posting mine. I do have the adjustable pedals. I'm not sure that has anything to do with my issue though, as I tried moving them back and forth and STILL heard the squeak. I like the...

    Brake Pedal Squeaks!

Okay this might sound weird, but the brake pedal on my 2010 Yukon SLT squeaks when I press it. 100% it is inside and is NOT an issue with brake pads/rotors. Clearly not a big deal, but it drives me nuts. It's especially bad when I drive through my apartment complex with all the stupid speed...

    Brake lights out

My fairly new to me 2010 Yukon SLT has no side brake lights, but the high mount works fine. All other taillights seem to be functional as well. I've checked one of the bulbs and brake light fuses and all look fine. I'm pretty stumped. I read somewhere to check the tail light circuit board...
