Thanks for the replies. Yes, I have the child lock switch on the door flipped so he cannot open the door. That's not the issue. Like Micahsd, I want to be able to disable the lock/unlock BUTTONs so he cannot flip the switches and repeatedly lock and unlock the doors.
I have a 2022 Yukon Denali w/ captains chairs. My toddler can reach the lock / unlock button from his car seat in the second row and when he wants to be especially difficult (as toddlers do) he will hit the lock and unlock button repeatedly while we are driving. It is ANNOYING. I would like to...
2022 Yukon Denali with basically all upgrades except RSE and the air suspension thingy.
I love it.
It's comfy to be in for road trips, no problems at 4100 miles (Drove it 1500 miles each way on a road trip 4 days after purchase). I'm not a car person, I just got it to be able to transport dogs...
The issue w/ tablets is my kids are 2 and 0, and won't be able to control them independently for a long time. My 2-year-old is good at getting around his Kindle Fire but can't reach a tablet on the back of the seat when strapped into a car seat. Plus, I don't really want the kids having access...
Hm. I will have to fiddle with my settings and see why the Airplay map isn't showing me the turn-by-turn on my digital dash/heads-up display
. I'm glad to hear it will do that because sometimes I prefer to use the Apple Maps.
The old system is gone. It's only the Google maps, plus whatever you can get on Carplay/Android mirroring.
To be clear, the Carplay/Android mirroring will show the maps on the big touch screen thing (the one that controls music system, etc.). But the digital dash that displays the speed limit...
I opted for a Denali over an SLT because of the adaptive cruise control. Mine wasn't a custom build b/c I couldn't wait for one, and none of the SLTs the dealer had came with adaptive cruise but the Denali did. Not sure if you can add that as an option w/ a custom build or not, but I wouldn't be...
I've had my new Yukon Denali XL for 3 weeks. I really love the Google maps, it's world's above the GPS in my previous car and my husband's car because of the route selection options; real-time traffic changes; etc.
The one thing about using Apple / Android play once the 3-year WiFi plan runs...
I recently purchased a 2022 Yukon Denali XL nd it didn't have rear seat entertainment. RSE was the only feature I wanted but couldn't get (was lucky to get this one from a dealer w/ only a 6 day wait, it was in transit when I called and we were in a hurry and there aren't many cars in the area)...
