    Upper Rear Control Arm/Track Arm

Ok, well here is the feedback after installing the new "straight" upper track bars. The clunk has gone away, and the ride has improved even further. What did I learn? Well I learned that I can use either the dog legged track bar, or the tubular "straight" track bar. Upon inspection the ends of...

    Upper Rear Control Arm/Track Arm

I purchased the truck with the clunk already installed, lol. It had 75k on it and replaced the panhard bar with no relief. Now I am getting around to replacing the entire suspension and bushings, control arms, etc. Everything is brand new under there at 147k miles. The last thing to do is these...

    Fog Lights w/Parking Lights

Has anyone used the jumper to jumper the fog lights with the parking lights? I generally run with the fogs on (I like the light output), and was thinking of this. It would be nice to not have to activate the fog lights independently.

    Upper Rear Control Arm/Track Arm

Yes, my uppers are straight as the one on the right of the pictures I attached. I climbed under the truck last night and verified, and was told by the dealer that some trucks came with straight, and some dog legged. There is a design one, and design two. Not sure which one is which. I ended up...

WOW, tune done now it feels GREAT!!!

So I popped and ordered the Diablo i3 Platinum tuner. My expectations were low, but had someone at work talk me into it. I have to say, I'm impressed! I performed the "Diablo Tune" to the ECM and "Firm Shift" to the TCM. In addition, I deactivated the DOD/AFM. The truck (closest thing I have to...

    KYB, I'm a fan now!

I just changed out my struts and shocks with KYB's Gas-A-Just line. The front came complete with springs, and fully assembled. I have to say I was trying to decided between Bilstein and KYB. It was a tough decision, but I feel good about it. The truck feels like new, and a real pleasure to drive...

Front end. Need to rebuild the front end.

I rebuilt mine last weekend.. I used MOOG (CK level parts with problem solver components). Replaced: Upper and lower control arms (do yourself a favor, purchase new bolts from GM that mount the arms to the frame. This was a life saver!) Inner and outer tie rods Sway bar links and bar bushings...

    Front Diff. Issues

2011 Tahoe LT, 4WD... The 4wd works as it should however, when I turn left or right it feels like it is binding up. Has anyone experienced this before? It also makes a humming noise when driving at speed in 4 wheel. The fluid is full and it does not make this noise in 2wd. The second issue is...

    Upper Rear Control Arm/Track Arm

I am beyond annoyed at this point. 2011 Tahoe, LT, 4WD with stock suspension components. I am replacing the upper control arms/track arms (whatever you choose to call them). The issue I am having is there are apparently 2 different iterations of them. One that is straight, and one that is dog...

KYB Gas a Just vs Bilstein B 4600 Rear Shocks?

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to say the KYB's feel like a new truck again.

    SHAME ON GENERAL MOTORS

You know, I just need a soap box right now. GM knows they have an issue with the 5.3 when it comes to oil consumption. Mine is a 2011 and soaks up a quart every 3,000-5,000 or so. During every oil change I clean the throttle body that will never rust due to the oil slick going on in there. Then...
