I went back and removed the 4 codes from the list. Flashing the pcm obviously all the diagnosis went back to missing but they went green except for the evap now and the permanent codes are still there. So got tonkeep driving. Might need about 100 more miles and and a few more start ups to clear...
Yeah, they are all cleared now even the evap, but i have the permanent codes from the cylinders that used to be used for the AFM/DOD.
So i was thinking of removing the ls2 valley cover i plaved and reinstall the AFM VLOM to hopefully trick the computer its still plugged in to AFM.
Thanks
I removed the pre cat extender and all diagnostics are ckeared and ready to go!
I did a DOD delete on this trck and swore i erased the vlom codes through hp tuners but they show up as permanent codes. My smog gu said keep driving it but im tempted to put the old vlom back in so its...
good morning, ladies and gents.
I am having an issue and I was hoping to get some wonderful feedback from you.
After I rebuilt my engine, I am having an issue with my cat on bank one. Can’t clear the code. I swapped out the O2 sensors for a brand new OEM‘s problem still consisted..
So before I...
Have you considered just doing a poly bushing swap and new torsion keys. Not sure if you are a DIY'er like me but I did that it lifted my ride considerably. Rides nicer with some Bilstien 5100's too
Those would be the tie rods. but we found the issue. The Chassis Support bracket, the big metal brace under the oil pan was not torqued down and was causing this.
The valley cover looks like an LS2 cover. Is that a 6.0?
When I did the DOD delete I noticed the LS2 cover is shorter and thinner so a screen wont fit in there. The VLOM is thicker and taller to give the screen space
the tie rod? Thanks I will double check it.
A Mechanic in the family said there was a TSB about broken sway bar mounts but that was a GMT900 problem not a GMT800 issue.
My other concern was I tighten the shocks so the bushing compressed but I guess there is a torque setting for these. I will...
I second @tirekicker
Check the hubs as well. I changed a wheel bearing for a friend his car had a high pitched whine and the dealer wanted to change his clutch fan and radiator go figure.
