96 door on 98 truck
Update. The door from the 98 4dr Tahoe did indeed fit my 98 2dr. The wiring harness did not work. There was an extra plug for the rear doors that I just left unplugged thinking everything else should work. No luck. So, I swapped the harness from the smashed door and everything works now. -

Hello Gentlemen, I’ve successfully installed a driver door from a four door 96 Tahoe onto my 98 two door. The wiring harness had one extra plug I assume is four the two doors that I don’t have. I was hoping that if I plugged everything in and just left the extra plug unplugged everything would...- bigfeet

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows where to get a rear lower quarter panel replacement piece for a 98 2 door? It seems as though the 4 door specific piece is the only one made. The 4 door peice is too long. I guess you could cut the middle out and re weld . Any help is greatly appreciated... -
