Well, over the weekend...

Replaced fog lamp housings/bulbs
Replaced DRL bulbs
Replaced 9005 hi beams with 9011 HIR's/9006 low beams with 9012 HIR's
Touched up a TON of rock chips across the front of the truck
Re-blacked rear wiper arm and roof rack
Replaced alternator
Sunroof adjustment
Sunvisor headliner glued back in place
Started on water spot removal (all glass)

Hey man, had a quick look on eBay and found a lot of center caps, but not sure what you need. Here's a link

Plenty of the Unique chrome wheels as well. Discount Tire seems to carry them and this link http://www.uniquewheel.com/catalog.html (it was a bit slow loading when I tried it). Hope this helps a bit in your search.

Yeah, looked around on Ebay and found some center caps to choose from, so that shouldn't be a problem. Just need to take some measurements to see which one is the right one.

Tried about billion times yesterday to get that Unique catalog, or even their website, to load, but to no avail. Always getting an error. Even tried with multiple devices. The wheels are probably some older design, so I'm pretty sure they don't make them anymore. All I can find so far is 8-hole wheels, not 6-hole (not referring to bolt holes).

Guess it's time to upgrade to something bigger if I can't find the one I need.

So technically you got 3 tail light bulbs? Man I thought I was doing big things with 2 tails light bulbs lol. Extra light is not only safer but it looks cooler too. Nice job. Do you have any pics of the backside? I'll be getting these same lights eventually, and I like this idea.

Swapped these originals

for these 2015 takeoffs 17" Sierra wheels/tires with a grand total of 2.3 miles for 750 bucks. Almost cheaper than getting new tires. Interestingly, the DIC is still reading tire pressures (?!)

Looks good. My DIC acted fine for about 100 miles and then triggered the dash light for the TPM sensors.

I'm sure you know... but steel wool for the water spots on the glass.
Also I never knew about the 9011 and 9012..are those better?

I used this on the water spots with a little piece of scotch brite pad. Works like a charm, with minimal elbow grease:

The 9011/9012 bulbs are great. 9005/9006 bulbs are halogens, rated at around 3250K color temp, and the 9011/9012 HIR bulbs are around 3600K, so they're still very stock appearing color temp wise. This is important to me. Then, they work off the stock wiring and require no ballasts or relays, and generate no more heat than the halogens. The 9006 bulbs put out about 1100 lumens and 9005's about 1800 lumens. Respectively, the 9012's rate at 1800, and 9011's rate at 2400, all four using same 55 watts. After a small very easy modification to the tabs on the HIR bulbs, they plug directly in to the factory sockets. So, way more light, and no monkey business with wiring, ballasts, relays, etc.

I'm already wired up for hids. But good trick to know. I got a few friends who don't wanna mess with leds or hids who would appreciate this mod. Thanks for the "heads" up
