A few months ago I installed a magnaflow muffler and it took my average MPG down a couple from around 20 to 18 mpg.
My '07 Tahoe is stock other than an K&N filter & box I put on months ago, which may have added a slightly better MPG average, very minimal if any...
I called magnaflow about it, asking if it could have hurt back pressure or if this had been reported-to which I was told it wasnt, and that if anything I should see a gain.
I am trying to recoup the lost MPG with some small mods, but also curious if anyone else has had similar results-and what was done.
