Took advantage of the warm temps and put my last coat of wax on before winter. And detailed the inside as well. Not too exciting but needed to be done-the crappy time of year is just around the corner.......

I'm about to get a new set of tails, not sure if I want all red or smokes, so I used some tint in a can to see how it would look, what do you all think?

Finally found some escalade corner vents and the 2500HD bumper pad I have been looking for. Now I just need to paint and install them.

Got the front windows tinted to match the rest. Then gave her a quick bath.

Finally got some led low beam headlights. These are different looking. Actually have a 1 inch ground strap looking thing coming off in three loops as a heatsink. They say they fit much better in our limited space behind the headlights. And they are really bright in happy.

Oh yeah ordered the new radio and all the stuff to go with it. They are gonna put it in Thursday. Contemplating adding the back up camera while it's out.

No more cracked dash! Found one in great condition, reinforced some of the areas where it broke on mine, added a fresh coat of dye and installed. Also grabbed the center console extension out of the same 01 tahoe. Something about a cracked dash that just drives me nuts. Now I just need to touch up the dye on the glove box.

How difficult is the dye touch up? I've got some spots like that too.

Top looks great!

For the dash, I washed it with Dawn, then a degreaser with scotch bright pad, wipe with a precleaner, and let dry in the sun. I used the scotch pad to try to smooth out the flaking edges as best I could and used the precleaner again (specific cleaner before dye is applied). I coated the bad spots first so it'd build up. You can still see a couple of spots on the dash, but they aren't really obvious any more.
