Alright boys. Up for sale is my 16" 6 piston slotted Wilwood kit. This kit will work for all 99-2013 half ton trucks / suv's. The brake lines are for 2007+, that would be all you'd need to buy if you had a 99-06. They are very clean, and have about 6k miles on them. Bought them in December from summit for $1900. Parting with them for $1000 plus shipping. I'd prefer to sell local to Houston because they weigh a shit ton.

I asked Dale in his original FS thread to contact me first ASAP if he decided to part with these since I posted asking to buy them prior to anyone else. I was never contacted as I politely requested to be, but instead was directed to this thread by another member who knew of my interest. A big thanks goes out to that member.

It seems Dale is looking to avoid shipping these since he stated he's looking for a local buyer due to their weight, so I'm going to give him the chance to get rid of them locally before making an offer to purchase.

I do have a question for him, though. It's stated that these have roughly 6k miles on them, but they do appear to have some heavy use or uneven wear patterns, or maybe even some discoloration from extreme heat, which isn't uncommon for brake rotors to exhibit after extended hard use. I can't quite tell for sure by the pics, but is this what I'm seeing, Dale, or is it something else I'm noticing that's going on with the rotors? Would you mind posting pics of the pads? I'd be interested to see what they're looking like and their condition. Thanks in advance if you can do this for me.

Man, those look nice! It's a shame they don't fit under PPV steelies!! GLWS.

Yeah, that's the downside for some. Only 20" rims and up once you go big with the brakes. I had to sell my PPV's that I used as a winter set-up because they wouldn't clear my Baer kit I have right now. I'd love to upgrade from my Baer's to these Wilwood's, but I really would like to see some pics of the current pad wear.

I'll get you better pics. The rotors have zero things wrong with them. It's a ****** cleanup job with bad reflections that make it look like hot spots. They are not warped, have never been super heated, or anything. Pad wear is also very normal. My only gripe with these, as I've stated in another post is that they create a lot of brake dust, which is common as other users of these experience the same thing. I repeat - zero things wrong with this front set. I'll get you better pics later today. And as far as not letting you know first, priorities have changed, I don't spend a lot of time on here anymore, and regularly delete my PMs. I apologize I didn't tell you first that I was going to be selling these after all. No offers have been made so as far as that goes - you can still have them as long as you pay the shipping. As I said, they are very heavy so I would expect $100 or more via UPS.

As far as sway bars go - I didn't take anything else off the Tahoe, only the brakes.

Dale, I'll pass them off to the next guy in line. Just bought a set of new Escalade ESV running boards this morning, so I need to back off the truck spending for a couple weeks. Thanks for clearing up the questions on the brake wear, though. It'll come in handy for others that are interested.

You could literally argue this with EVERYTHING on this site. "$1000 for headlights?" "10k for a motor" Vehicles are hobby and toys. To each their own. I absolutely loved these $2,000 brakes.
