iPod Unit for 04 Denali yet??????

Any advice on iPod adapters or new units iPod ready?
All the crapy devices that supposedly connects your iPod to factory unit are useless.
Have anyone tried anything good???

I don't have a factory deck but my eclipse is connected from the head phone jack of the ipod to the back of my unit Thats about all I know....I'm not to good with electronics, sorry

Sound quality is great but again I'm not so into systems so who knows!

I'm with blueflamed on this. i've been looking around all the aftermarket connectors for the factroy nav deck, and soudgate looks to be the best. Now I just have to get the cash for it.

PXAMG- thoughts? experience? I find the concept compelling because of:

addtl. aux in included (Sirius XM thru iPhone, Pandora, etc... or DTV audio in for tailgating).
&
compatibility with rear audio controls.

Eagle, haven't used one, but they do look good, we just came out with Iotalk, Ioplay and with the bins out in the warehouse, it's endless in new toys

It has the iPod input and then 2 other inputs. works with HD radio & IPod flawlessly once you figure out how to use it.

I have the same one in an 03 tahoe with the bose. Works fine sounds good.

I install a few Peripheral iSimple PXAMG ipod adapters per week. Nice piece. It charges and allows full control of your ipod via your stock hu. And as Eagle mentioned, it also comes with an aux mini jack to connect other generic external audio devices.
Blueflamed also mentioned Soundgate, which is another reputable aftermarket interface company.
Also look into USA Spec.

I've been going through these threads for weeks now and it seems that one is the way to roll (model ISGM74, specifically)...if I'm reading everything correctly, I should be able to leve my iPod in my glove box and control it fully through my headunit, eh?

I had one in my '07 Charger I just got rid of that was available from Dodge that did exactly that and so that's ultimately what I'm looking for

found it through best buy for 150 bucks and it looks like I can pick it up at the store down the street from my house...might grab it tomorrow on the way to watch football before I blow too much cash on boozin'

I was completely sold on the PAC UPAC-GMC2, figuring I'd run the wire to my center console box and leave the iPod in there, pulling it out to change artists & albums but it looks like with this one I won't have to roll that route

we'll see if my opinion changes if I pick one up tomorrow, I guess

Yes get that one! I bought it from best buy, installed it my self and I run my ipod or my iphone on it. I can control it through my steering wheel controls and H.U.. Its a good buy and only takes 30minutes (take the H.U. out and plug it into the back, that simple).

and I'm led to believe you can select artists through the headunit and basically just keep the iPod out of sight?

yes you can, it tells all about the controls in the paperwork in the box. Your numbers on the H.U. will be used for various controls and so will the tuner dial, it explains it all in the box. Not sure what year tahoe you have, but it needs to be 03-06 for the connector I have, make sure you get one that will work, because 02 and older dont really have a connector available from best buy.
