Nothing like having to jerry rig a $70k+ new truck
Lol
It's a shame a bunch of forum guys have this licked and GM missed it.

You talkin about the white clips from GM or my fix?? Lol
Haha...Nothing like having to jerry rig a $70k+ new truck
Lol
Hopefully you take that thing to the dealer once the fix is released from GM. I'm with the other guys, **** having to Jerry rig a brand new 70K+ vehicle
My local dealers would tear more things up trying to fix this stuff than its worth. Plus it would take a dozen trips to get them to diagnose the correct thing. I have about a 50/50 rate of at minimum a door ding or a scratch every time I visit a dealer.
This.
I HATE dealers.
You go in with a problem. They fix it and scratch and nick things in the process.
One time..... go in to have a rear HVAC dial bezel replaced.
Sumbitxhes used RTV. Yes. RTV to glue it back together.
Had black stains on my headliner.
FU some of you GM Dealers.
Update: got the Yukon back today. They replaced the seat frame. Problem fixed. Hopefully this takes care of it and it doesn't re-surface. After 4k miles, today was the first day I din't have the seat issue. What a difference...
The fix was very involved. They had to remove the entire seat and replace the frame then re-install. Of course now my seat doesn't vibrate when the lane departure warning goes off so it needs to go back in. Hopefully they just forgot to connect a wire. I checked the software setting on the Nav unit settings to make sure the vibrate box was checked and it was.
1200+ miles on my slt nothing like this happening here. (phew)
Very frustrating that no dealerships know what I am describing. My 2015 Yukon Denali driver seat rocks and rolls with every turn I make. My brother in-law is having the same problem with his 2015 Yukon SLT. I'm scared to take it in bc I don't want the dealer coming up with his own fix before GM has an official fix for it.
