I found an 05 z71... I haven't driven it yet so i am not sure about the condition, i will probably get to that tomorrow. The truck has 155k on the clock though.

What does everyone think about these trucks with that many miles? Pros? Cons?

nothing is wrong with the sexy white beast... Michele is getting rid of the denali, she hates it and its expensive. She likes the z71 a lot and I found a nice one but the only draw back is 155k miles. Otherwise its a pretty good deal.

opinions?

I would look for something different, because 155K miles scares me.

155 isn't shit I'd scoop it up. Gonna need a trans and front end but $2000 isn't much to spend on a reliable vehicle. Don't forget to dial up the diffs with some royal purple yo.

Bout tree-fiddy.

"I told you not to give that Lochness monster no tree fiddy" LMAO

MY Yukon has 165k and she still runs strong...I do notice some piston slaping when she is real cold and I start moving without letting her warm up...but other then that no problems at all...

Dude, if you're getting it for a good price, I'd scoop it up. Do a complete flush of the tranny and fill it back with Royal Purple = 14 qts. I'd roll it, especially if the body is good and everything else seems fine.

I don't think that's a bad price for an '05 I paid $16 for mine with 89k miles on it.

I would change all the fluids, but do NOT do a Tranny flush. If it has not been done in the past or recently, you will have problems after the flush, especially after 155K miles.

x2 don't flush a 155k tranny bro, you are taking on high risk doing that. Just change the fluid.

I would say it's decent. I got mine for $8k, it's an 02 but had over 60k less miles.

Same here, I got my 02 with 90k for 7800. Granted it's a 2002, but there's not a HUGE difference in the vehicles either. I don't have efans...

Properly changing the fluid would be a complete flush.........why would you not want to do a complete flush?
