I finally got around to installing this. I welded a piece to the support pillar in front of the radiator so it could hold the bar. I went this a 3/16" thick piece of aluminum. I used a pre made wiring harness to power it. The light output isso much more than I thought. Pics to follow of night time.

I have the street scene bumper.....wonder how it would look and how easily it would mount in the lower opening behind the mesh screen?

Not sure how the Tahoe is set up behind the grille. On the Yukon, this was the only option I saw that would keep it nice and secure. I am pretty sure you have the A pillar in front if the radiator like the Yukon. I'm stoked on how it came out.

Oh man. U need a light bar with that bumper. Get a longer one that goes end to end. Potholes will not be able to hide from that.

The wire harness I purchased off eBay, the item number is #111246129456. It was a very straight forward harness install. Very happy with the product.

The LED bar was purchased on eBay as well, mine is 120w 24", Search eBay and you will find tons. I recommend purchasing from US vendors

Are you looking to mount a light bar on upper grill or lower grill?

Can I tap into the fog lights instead of using that wiring harness?
I thought about doing that but I wanted the option of running fogs w/o light bar if needed. The wire harness I used was super easy to install. Getting it through the firewall was the hardest part

Sorry for horrible quality. Took some quick pics with iPhone in 2 different parts of neighborhood. I'll use my cannon tomorrow to get a better scale

Can u post a pic as if you were a deer. I would like to see how blinding this is comming at you. I really want to do a slightly lager one on the bottom of the yukon bumper but going to have to cut out some plastic so I'm hesitant to commit if it's going to get me pulled over for blinding people.

I'll take some head on shots tonight. Keep in mind even my 24" bar is WAY TO BRIGHT for everyday use. You will blind the piss out of oncoming cars.

Congrats. Let me know if you ever have questions durning the install. The harness is nice cause it comes in sections which all clip together to make installation easy.

Thank you very much :)

The output is amazing. How high is the beam pattern? It looks like it has a nice beam pattern so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.

Thanks again
