Hey guys - new to the forum, long time Suburban owner ('96 K2500, vortec 454). Sold the suburbillac in April and replaced it with an '04 Yukon XL K2500 (6.0L). It's a dual purpose family car/jeep hauler.

Hate the wheels...just ordered a set of 285*70*17 Cooper AT3s to replace the wore out Zeons. Haven't settled on a wheel yet, but the size will be a -12 17x9.

Recently had everything stolen from the interior that I had installed (Kenwood nav, sub, amp, etc.), and all of my tools. Have a new kenwood ordered, a new amp and sub ordered, and plan to tint the windows, and install an alarm.

The rear DVD doesnt work and the RSE is pretty jacked up...trying to figure out what to do with them.

Need to install a trans cooler, some guages for pulling, and I'm interested in the chevy HD hood/bumper. Already have a trailer brake controller, obviously.

Thanks for all the great info I'm finding on this site!

I finally killed my indicisiveness and ordered a set of wheels and tires...

Decided against 17s, which was my initial plan. Bought a set of 20x9 -12 Helos

And instead of 285*70*17, I decided to push the limit of fit and ordered a set of 305*55*20 Toyo Open Country A/T2s. I don't know a lot about this tire, and was going to order Cooper AT3s because of this (we have them on the F250 and I had them on the suburbillac)...but decided I'd try something new. I like the look of the sidewall of the Toyo, and the 37" open country MTs on the TJ have been a great tire so far.

Anyone have experience with these tires?
