5.3 swap 1999 chev tahoe

so I bought my 5.3 engine and its got 110 000kms my Tahoe has 254 000 and a blown tranny.. so the swap is now in motion but I have had a few questions...

1- My 99 trans is done... but I wanted to run the 04 trans from my 99 computer and noticed no tps on the 04 harness... is there a way around this?
I have the entire computer and hardness from the 04 Tahoe I got the 5.3 from. could I even run the 04 trans on the 99 computer?

2-.. how to I make my current harness a stand alone? ive been all over "lt1swap.com" shows a lot about ls motors but no one really runs the electric throttle and to get another will cost me more then $200 so im told.

I will be posting all the pictures of the swap here also for anyone interested, ive never done a swap like this but some say its "basic" im learning. I also got the transdapt 1 inch set back plates and they bolted to the ls 5.3 perfect, I was really happy with the fitment. As always all help is great help.

you will need the pcm for the 5.3 for it all to work properly. and building a standalone harness of any kind is going to be wire intensive are you sure you up to doing it?

I have the 5.3 pcm from the 2004 Tahoe also got a cable driven throttle just incase now. Ive started on the wiring from what I could see other people doing but im getting close, I don't have much of a choice its my only vehicle... and no money to buy another.

I came to the forum and looked alot but.. all I can do is keep trying

It looks like if I change the 4x4 and shift linkage that the trans will work with 99 parts, not sure how the plug will work though I cant see it just yet.

Its been stressfull cant find anyone local to tune the pcm and the tranny thats in the tahoe blew so it was 1500 to get it rebuilt. The build is still going to happen its just the pcm and flywheel spacer thats holding me back. Ive been told i can get a kit and tune it myself but god knows where. Currently i am still looking and step by step going abouts the swap to try and cover everything.

do you have any pics? i think black bear performance can do the tune for you and the guy from ls1swap will do the tune also if you willing so send it out. please post pics i'm gonna be doing a swap into my 1988 silverado pretty soon so i would like to see pics to give me an idea of the swap thanks

The motors not in the truck its sitting in my 80 malibu atm. Currently i have 2 5.3 motors one rebuild another with just over 100 000 kms. I may be buying a new car my tahoe is becoming a problem but if you email me i can show you all the info i have dug up and i found some people local here winnipeg manitoba.
