Looking at newer Yukons and I've noticed that all the dials for 4x4 selection only have 2HI, Auto, and 4HI. Have they gone away with the 4Low or something?

Ya no kidding, but I wouldn't put it past them. Looks like 2012 is the first year they don't have 4LO. Retarded. It already sucks that the Denali's come with AWD. I love the way they look and the 6.2 but I don't wanna be in 4 wheel drive all the time.

They have 2WD and AWD escalade's and denali's actually. And I have 4 low on my 07 avalanche 4x4.

Ah, thank god. If thats true. What are they really using another transfercase in all of the other trucks? Seems hard to believe.

Edit: Ya your right, I tried to build one on GMC.com. Weird.

I just looked it up on the online ordering guides. For the Yukon the 2 speed transfer case comes with and is only available with the heavy duty trailering package or the Z71 off road package. AWD on the Denali. http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/do...vehicleID=12764&section=oi_def&page=6&butID=3

For the Tahoe it only comes with the heavy duty trailering package or Z71 package and is standard on the LTZ model. http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/do...vehicleID=12744&section=oi_def&page=6&butID=3 It was also this way when I ordered my 2011 LTZ in mid 2010.

I would get the heavy duty trailering package even if you don't tow to get the 3.42 gears.
