A couple of pics

The stable on an overcast day and rainy day. The explorer is for sale so should be gone soon. The Yukon barely fits in my garage!

The day after I picked it up. A poor attempt at using the HDR app on my phone. I just put a coat of wax. I still need to clay bar, swirl remover then wax. Might need to correct paint on a couple of small spots. I was just anxious to drive it.

More pics from a real camera upon receipt of my air raid jr. My engine bay also needs to be cleaned. I plan on getting some CK916's on it at some point, maybe when I need new tires. Definitely going to do some retrofit projectors on the front and probably some G4 or G5 tails and all LED's. Probably a Denali style grill. We'll see what else comes along. I am also in the process of building up the mr2 so some things will probably have to wait on the Yuk.

Thanks and this forum is awesome. The only thing I haven't found searching is if anyone uses a specific oil. It has royal purple but that was in it when I got it.

As with any forum that deals with cars/trucks/motorcycles, oil is a subject that everyone has an answer or opinion on.

IMO, just run a quality synthetic, change it per the vehicle's mfg requirements and you'll be good to go. I run Mobil 1, Rotella or whatever is on-sale at my local Autozone as long as it's a full synthetic.

Nice You may want to lower it after the 916s. That way it would fit better in your garage.

Well hopefully soon, I'll have a garage it can fit in. As far as oil, in the explorer I use Castrol Syntec, in e mr2 I use eneos. I guess I'll start using Mobil 1 again or amsoil. I've heard good and bad about royal purple. Thanks for the compliments.

NA right now, awaiting a gen 3 3sgte. Can't wait for that. It's about 245k miles right now and still runs. When the newness of the yuk wears off ill be driving it daily again.

Cool, that gen 3 will sure make it scoot. Way back in the day I had an 89 Supra turbo with a few HKS mods. To this day I get all warm & fuzzy when I hear a boosted turbo.

Yup. Love the sound of a turbo. I also love the whine of a s/c. Might be one in the works for the Yukon later on down the road.
