Sorry if this is the wrong area but here it goes, i have NO heat! I got this numbered diagram from the dealership and have already replaced # 13, and 19. The problem i noticed is that theres no vacuum(suction) from #14 line and from what ive read that line is supposed to crerate a vacuum which opens the control valve allowing hot water into the core for heat, but my heater core is getting hot but still no heat. Once I disconnected & pinched off the #14 line and got very hot heat just for that moment and soon as I re-connected it the heat stopped & thats when I changed the heater control valve(#13) but no results, and no vacuum at all in the line either, so I changed actuator(#19) and still no heat. So im thinking i need to replace whatever makes the line that runs between #13 and #19, not sure what #20 is for but im thinking that since it goes to #21( dont know what its called) I mind as well replace that today so off to the junkyard for now. Does anyone know what else I can look into? The bm works on all speeds and the heater core/hoses are getting hot as well. Ive already replaced the WP, RAD, T-STAT and gaskets(head/intake)...btw, what is #21 called and what does line #20 do?

Get rid of #13 altogether for now so you have heat, fix the heat issue in the summer.

You'll need a hose adapter to got from the 3/4 to 1/2 or what ever the sizes are. I did the same thing to mine, I bypass the core completely in the summer if it gets to hot.

never thought of that, will that enable heat all the time?

Line 20 when attached to 21 should have vacuum on the side of line that attaches to solenoid you pictured tho it may be hard to feel with ahose of small diameter. DDid you do the volt test?

Just checked #20 on the solenoid end(while the other end is on #21) and there is strong suction on that end...cant find my tester...the solenoid is the second one, took one off another truck like mine for $2 and thought i'd try it but

The temp dial was all the way on 'hot' in the red....the blower motor was on high/ignition on too...idk what the issue might be now

With that line 20 connected to engine an water valve solenoid did you get a vacuum onthe hose that goes from solenoid to water valve? And what volvoltage did you get when the temp dial was set to max cold detent and a/c control on?
