Well after almost 3 years, I traded in the Tahoe for a 2013 Durango R/T, with the 5.7 Liter Hemi. The plan is to lease the Durango for 3 years and then buy a used 2014 Tahoe in 2016. This has been a great forum and I have found tons of helpful information. Just want to thank everyone and I will see you back here in 2016. Although I am sure in will peak in from time to time to keep up on things. Thanks again.

Very nice. Durango R/T was my second choice. It would have been first had they finally dropped in the 8 speed.

Yeah, these things don't get great mileage and the 8 speed will help, i have heard next year they are updating these a bit as far as interior and tranny. I got a great deal on this lease. End of the year during a snow storm. The gave me 18,250 for my 07 LT3 with 87k miles. $3,800 down and $300 a month. The Durango is loaded, leather, nav, Hemi, most of the goodies.

Nice truck, I just wish those 5.7s were faster. I had a 2011 Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 and it felt like a dog to me. I guess I was spoiled by my TBSS.

Just traded my '08 Tahoe for a Durango thanks to seed you planted on this thread ;) Great deal for year end and almost 27k for the trade in I just couldn't pass it up.

Almost shed a tear driving away from the tahoe, I loved that thing. Thinking I will follow your plan on the used NNNBS? in a few years.

Thanks to the TYF for all the great info and money sucking inspiration :)

Glad I could help. Ha. How many miles were on your Tahoe and what options did you have? 27k sounds pretty good compared to my 18,250. Post some pics of the new ride. Did you get an R/T?

Yeah they're pricey no doubt about that.
Ever thought about a WK1 even?

I test drove a used WK1 before I bought the Vette. It was 2010 (last year) but it seemed pretty beat. I will say it had a lot better throttle response and more balls than my TBSS did from a stop.
