Did any OBS come with the new style spider injectors from the factory?

The newer spider injector assembly that we all have upgraded to. Well some of us I guess. The newer part number for Vortec engines 96-99.

I don't think they did. I try to kept an eye out at the junkyard for the newer one. Might get lucky one day...

i have never heard of one coming with the upgraded spider assembly from the factory.

x2 i think i remember a bulletin even going around about complaints as this affected nearly every engine and that GM should have had a recall but never happened as the problem normally happened with higher mileage

5.7 and 4.3 obs vortec only. they actually extended the warranty on original injection design to 10yrs, 100,000.

Ya, your a genius. Wasn't sure if later Vortec's actually got the "newer" spider assembly. Maybe 98-99 or something, not to mention the original 350 went on til around 2002 I think in Vans and Heavier duty trucks. Didn't know the design and implementation date of the new spider assembly. But thanks.
