verrry nice! I love old cruisers.....feels good to see a 70's-80's-90's car in nice shape motoring down the road

yeah and she's been fun to build, too. One of these days I'll get the A/C working and she'll be perfect :) She's just nice enough to tootle around town in and get compliments but not so nice that I'm afraid to drive it and that's perfect for me. My boys also like to go for rides in it and I enjoy that too :)

I have done nothing YET. But, I am working on something today and need a little input. I am testing some new headlight bulbs and while I like the color of the lights, etc. The light output doesn't seem to be there. While looking closer at the lenses, etc, I noticed that the light output is mainly coming through the bottom of the projector lens, almost like the lens is dirty on the inside and possibly blocking the light. My question is, is it possible to clean them on the inside and if so, what would ya'll suggest I use to clean them? I really like the bulbs, but they are in the wife's Denali and she has complained about not having enough light in front of her when she goes to work in the dark of the mornings.

thanks.

:D Yeah, I'll need to buy other projects because right now with 3 boys I'm not sure who will take ownership of the '77 when I get old and ancient. :)

Today I painted the black grill part that holds the GMC emblem. The black emblem and backing blended together. I think it really stands out now I could not find a chrome plastic paint, so I used metallic silver. I am not totally happy, but it works for now. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342723639.715946.jpg

Just finished detailing the truck for Charlotte Cruise In tonight. Washed, Waxed, and Back to Black on all the plastics. Looks like a brand new truck now.

Yup, It looks great so far! I've been applying it with a old T-Shirt and simply wiping it on and letting it sit. Seems like it doesn't stay dark and glossy on the front bumper as much as I would like. Will it take a few coats or what?

I got one of mine "retroed" today and then got side tracked by my daughter finding a baby bird in the yard. It took a little while to find where it came from and return it to it's family. The other side will have to wait until tomorrow. I will be able to figure out tonight though, how much of a difference the retro made.

But the lenses themselves were clean....
