24's or 26's on college budget?

I have decided to sell some of my audio and finally get to work on the exterior of my Tahoe.

I was looking at 24's and noticed for the price I could spend a little more and get 26's. I could get the hook up on tires so I'm just worried about wheel cost.

I'm trying to decide if I should get 24's or get what I want 26's.
If I got 24's I would want to lower the truck, but wouldn't want to risk damaging something like an ABS sensor or something. If I got 26's I would leave the truck at stock height.

Questions:

I believe if I get 26's I would have to upgrade brakes, but could I just upgrade rotors and pads and be alright?

Most of my miles are freeway so about how long would tires last?
I put about 15,000-20,000 miles a year.

If I got 26's would I have to worry about my Trans and suspension components breaking are is that more a luck of the draw thing?

What are your opinions on tire brands like Fullway, and Dcenti?
Just as a temp. Set of tires when I get the wheels.

I would get what you want but your right on the upgrades as there all not required upgrades they are recommended. The cheaper route for everything is probably 24's but I would get what you really want because you will regret it!

I was set on 4's and lowering. I saw those Concept wheels and was looking at the Chrome ones

But for $2,900 I could get wheels and tires and have some left over.
And my truck seems to be sensative so if I lowered it just my luck codes would start popping up.

I see those tires everywhere around here. I work outside at a Grocery store so I see a lot of vehicles.

They do look good. I found them 26x10 with a +18 offset I don't know if that's ok or not?
I was looking at the Milanni kool whip 6 wheels I could only find them on eBay and they were a good price.

I actually don't know it is grey, but in certain light it looks goldish if that makes sense. About the same color as your Yukon.

Get 26s. If you get 24s you will eventually upgrade in the future.
I have used Dcenti tires before and was pleased.
I had a set of year old Gianelle 26s with Dcenti, TPMS, and lugs tires going for $2200 a few months ago. I guess most people decided somewhere in there head that it was not a good deal.

From personal experience, if you get 24s you'll end up getting 26s later. But as a member posted previous, 26s are hard to get rid of if u wanted to down the road. I got my 2crabe no 11 for 2800 out the door. Year later sold them for 1100 :/ guess people are scared of the size. But damn they look clean.

I remember that I was looking at those, but I didn't have a $$$$ yet and those wheels look really good.

Also Modded can I use the TPMS off my current wheels on new wheels?

Yes you can use your current TPMS off of the stockers on the new rims. For me, it is convenient to just buy a new set for $100 and sell the old ones with the stock wheels (if you sell them).

I'm probably going to keep them just incase something happens or I go on a long trip I could just throw the 20's back on.

Btw I believe my color is Greystone Metallic. Does anyone know what it looks like against Black wheels? Also how would a 26x10 25offset wheel work?
I know between a 30-35 offset is fine, but I believe 5 isn't that big of a difference.

Man, those Slides look good, but there is a guy down the street with them.lol, but if I can get them them at a good price I'm getting them.
I like that the black makes the rim look bigger because it blends with the tire though.

So I mentioned to my parents that I'm thinking of getting 26's and my dad said. He talked to a guy at a tire shop and the guy said. "That all those big rims end up messing up your front end and that he sees cars come back all the time with front end problems"

Is there any truth to this? Also has anyone had problem since running big wheels and tires.

I know eventually I will have to upgrade brakes and probably change my bearings, but I think that's about it.

I'm running fine had 24's since 33,000 miles and not one problem (knock on wood) you mean front end problems as in suspension right?
