Found this rosen head unit on ebay for $475 plus $70 for the ipod cable.. for less then $550 installed i couldnt pass it up.

It’s actually got some awesome features including Blue tooth, dvd player, ipod control, and the navigation function is way better then stock…

keep in mind that these things aren’t perfect... but, in my opinion u always get what u pay for... u want perfect pull out $1100.

That's because it's the stock replacement. If yours didn't come with Nav, and you want the factory to add it, that's what they put in.

yeah... it does have some problems... but it plays DVD's has navigation and Bluetooth... so im happy... i hear the advent unit is better, but at twice the price... it better be twice as nice

Cons:

The ipod function has issues, when u turn the car off it usually forgets where it was and starts the playlist from song 1, or starts the song from the beginning.

The navigation doesn’t work that well either.. sometimes it spins when I take a turn, or says I’m heading south when I’m heading north... it’s kind of annoying, but it is what it is.

The functions take about 2-3 seconds to cycle between.

Pros:

Bluetooth works great

The unit actually has more hard buttons than the factory navigation

Think about it, Cartoys wants $200 to install a GPS unit, and u have to buy $250 - $300 worth of parts for everything to work correctly… so I basically paid less than $50 for this unit since the install is simple and I didn’t need and extra parts.

Another thing is u can watch movies while driving, all u have to do is from the AV screen touch the top left corner and a keypad pops up, type in 7253 and it brings you to a hidden screen. In this screen is an option to disable the parking break function… disable it and u have movies while in motion…

Yeah that was the 10% gen 3 will retain factory rear controls but it's also like $1000+

Just finished installing. Took me about 2 hours. Looks Great! Retains every feature I had, then the unit added Bluetooth and navigation, so I'm very impressed!
