Ordered a bunch of goodies for my Denali today. I got LED tail lights and a new 8k HID kit from HIDguy and the LED reverse lights. Also ordered my 24' rims and tires today.

Tires are the same nitto 420S I've had on the 2s since I mounted them up last year. Winter should be fun with the new limited slip too, no more surprises from the bullsheet gov-loc.

sounds like a great setup.. a wet grass flat field would sure be fun with that new rear end..

Wow! Another vehicle with 24 foot wheels. That ladder must be ginormous.

Haha yea yea typo error...

I also did the cheese grater mod, drilled holes in the bottom of the air box. Noticed a decent difference in throttle response. I'm getting pretty crappy gas mileage though. Like 8-10 around town. Thinking I need to get some new spark plugs, wires, and clean my throttle body and maybe get a new
O2 sensor and I think my cat might be clogged.

The truck has 135k miles on it. I bought it with 72k on it and haven't done any of those parts since I bought it.

Any ideas and advice would be appreciated.

Did a quick 80 mile roundtrip to visit a friend. Filled up with some non-reformulated gas while I was out there(No ethanol). Saw 19.9 (MPG's) on the DIC right before I pulled back in the driveway....:D

What bags did you use and how hard were they to install?

I installed air lift bags... Called them up and they told me the proper bag for my larger springs from the lift... The install was very easy (I have done them before) but easy instruction.. And key is to jack the body up some to make more room in the spring and make the gap larger for install.. I would rate it a 2 out of 10 for time and difficulty...

Shoot me a pm if you need more info

My 15 year old son Cullen and I installed a new starter, changed the oil and completely flushed the power steering and brake fluids...

Put the XL up on my in laws lift to scrape and re-undercoat the rust on the frame around the spare tire. I know it is a losing battle, maybe it will at least slow the process!

Have about 500 miles on the new gears and they are quiet as stock. Did another heat cycle after work and slowly worked it up to 90 making sure the new tune from Justin has the speedo dialed for the 4.56s

I'm counting the miles until I can rip it, gonna change the fluids monday and then it will be on...I'll get some speedo vids, now I need a shift kit and a 3000rpm stall :D
(Yes I know my fuel gauge is jacked but I have a walbro 255 already assembled with a new sender and housing waiting at my shop for install).
