Upgraded to 2012 LTZ

well i traded in my 2004 z71 Tahoe, for a 2012 LTZ, wow oh wow, what a difference.

No pics yet since the weather has been crap

A couple simple mods so far are

GM 12555685 oil cap
GM 10236268 emblem
Color matched my EZ Tag, originally the EZ tag was black, and it just stuck out like a sore thumb, only lasted a day b4 i color matched it

A couple things on tap for this week is to:

1. get ceramic tint on the front windows, amazing how much i miss not having tint

2. get chrome tow hooks added

3. get F/R bowties changed out, chrome or color matched, haven't decided for sure which way i will go yet

thanks, i figured since i will switch to mobil1 anyways, and everyone know using that cap and emblem gives u atleast extra 10 HP,

I thought the chrome tow hooks came on the LTZ. At least they did on my 2011.

Edit: I looked it up. They are standard on the 4wd LTZ. You must have the 2wd.

nope looks just like regular tint but rejects out alot more of the heat.

at first when i was told about it a few years ago, i was not a believer until i felt the difference. since then , last 3 vehicles have had the ceramic tint. i use Huper optic tint.

yea the more and more i look at thepics, i'm leaning towards color matching the bowties
