It's actually painted. It came off an HD silverado.

It might be awhile before I can paint it, lol.

I'd still rock it as-is but that's how I am. It's not uncommon for people to roll their project vehicles as they are even when between stages or in the middle of mods :)

That's true. Didn't really think of it like that.
Does not look bad at all. Cops up in Alaska run matte primer
Black hoods on there hoods and front bumpers a lot.
Thanks Koa.

No....tuner would equal carbon fiber. IMO it just looks like you haven't gotten your hood painted yet.

It matches the winter wheels right now and there is no shame rollin' like that for now---but I think it will look 100X better painted to match ;)

Chauncey, I think the black hood looks ok temporarily however the contrast of the black seems to dulls the lines of the HD hood taking away its definition. Like the member said in your other thread you might want to check out some other painters. I agree with h'm that blending is mostly sales oriented.

Also, don't hesitate to go to a one man body shop who's real good but just doesn't have the huge shop and overhead. Those guys will a lot of times give you the best deal and may even do a better job :)
