Id PM our vendors over to the right, they know a lot more about that shit then i do. But being a 4x4 and such, its going to be a little harder to lower.

The thing is that you want ti have a load on the bars. If you moved the key one turn down you would have no load.

I don't know. It would be nice to be able to do that, but the only way to find out is to try it. And let me know how it works out :D

And the rear I thought on the tahoes that you cut the floor out to get low. I plan on doing a 6" drop in the rear, mabye 7" but I have to figure out how to get my old keys out in order install my drop keys I have. But when I get 22s with the right offset I plan on going lower again and thats when I drop the rear farther.

Good to know, I thought that you had to cut out the floor to get lower than 5 or 6" in the rear. Now if I could only get my keys out and get the front down more LOL a flip with my shackle would be in order :D

But a bagged 4wd would be nice, I don't want to lay frame or anything, but about 1" from laying and enough lift to com back to stock height would be perfect. Plus no one around here would know what was going on haha, no one understands bags around here and you always hear the "how do you drive it when its that low" :Boo:

A local guy here in the PHX area, bagged his 4wd, tahoe, it was real cool for the first 10 miles, then all hell broke loose. He was pretty low, but he ended up tearing gears, and drivelines, and a few other parts. Just be careful and use a reputable shop.

I would do the work myself. KP 6 link in the rear and bag over upper arms in the front. Really simple setup, but keeping it simple is where its at IMO.

What caused him to "tearing up gears and drivelines" thats just confusing to me. I know a guy that was 1" from laying frame in his 4wd truck and he could drive locked in 4wd without any problems.

My 96 four door is only 2wd, but it has a rear flip kit w/ a 4" shackle/hanger and airbags set up and the truck sits and rides awsome. I just had all my suspension re-done, both front and rear. If you want more details, let me know

Cant notch the frame of a 96....the shock mounts are right where the notch would go.

well im going to fab up a shock bracket anyway. Its going to be a bar across the frame inside the notch with shock mounts welded to it. I want to notch it right up to my floor boards. Think that would work out? I
