Looks clean jacob. Is the esky esv roof rack in your future?

Not sure. I have thought about it but I'm not sure how it'd look with the theme I've got going as I don't plan on putting the chrome handles on and I don't have the chrome emblems/letters on anymore or the esky running boards. Not sure how it'd look from the side view but I have thought about it. I'm not a real big fan of the rack that's up there now that is for sure...

Looks nice burb ... a lot cleaner without the wood paneling. Not as spiffy obviously, but cleaner. :waytogo:

07burb, do you guys use the rack thats up there? i knwo we use ours but if u dont, since u are debadged and stuff, u could do well with removing it and it would look great on your truck.

as far as the hood goes, get a clear deflector and paint the back side of it. it will still cover the chips but wont stand out as much. would be cheaper than having the hood repainted.

I put LED stripe light in my side mirrors. They act as additional turn signals.

where on earth did u get those and where did u come up with that idea?

Well hailpocolips 2011 pretty muck destroyed my 04 XL so I took the money they gave me to repair her and picked up an 03 Denali XL yesterday. So today I gave her a thorough cleaning and fresh coat of wax. I also acclimated myself to the nav in the new ride. Her name is Brittany:)

Yeah, I don't use it at all and would love to just get rid of it. If that were to happen I'd want to weld the holes shut and then paint. So something like that would definitely be further down the line. Right now it serves the purpose of something to hang onto while washing the roof :D

:) yeah, there are several rock chips behind that bug deflector from the previous owner so I really bought it as a cheap band aid until I can actually fix it correctly and look better than the rock chips...

Yes....sweet_n_low just posted up a pic of a new hood he got for his Avalanche and I really like that one but I haven't done much research up to this point. The hood will most likely be one of the last things I do as far as mods and I wanna make sure it goes with the rest of the ride once it's "complete". Looks at sweet_n_lows Avalanche thread over in the Avalanche section. It looks pretty sweet IMO. :)

Yeah, the cowl hoods I've seen are around $400 or so. The one he got was a little less than $700 and, of course, with either one you still have to get them painted. That hood would definitely give it a whole new attitude! :) Like I said, it's a ways down the line in my list of mods :) I would say at least a couple years away unless I win the lottery and can pick up the pace considerably on how often I can spring for my mods :D

My hood is dented in a few spots (vandalism) so I need a hood but don't know which one either.. But i'm not in a money situation for that yet, I still need other mods like you first..

For yours, a nice 2" cowl hood would look pretty nice I think. With it lowered and on the SS rims I think it'd really go with what you got going on :) But like you said it seems to get pushed down the list a bit. For me I definitely wanna get a tune and rim/tires first before I start really thinking about a hood. I hope to have the Burb tuned in the Fall. It needs to be woken up in a bad way!!! :D
