I saw a recent thread on an ebay company selling interior pieces with different designs rather then the woodgrain. I wasn't paying $400 for the design I liked so I chose a DYI kit

Looks sweet! Now just do something with that wood piece around the stereo.

One warning about the carbon fiber graphics. It has a tendency to discolor with the heat of the sun. I did this in my 86 Monte Carlo SS, was fine for first year, but is now discolored (did this 3 years ago).

Looks great, though! You did a great job!!

Thought I would leave that piece as like an accent piece. No?:supergay:

Yes. This 3m vinyl is so easy to work with. Hairdryer to soften it and it is like melting it on

I'm hoping my 5% tint will help eliminate that. Did you use the high end 3M vinyl?

Very nice, Sweet_N_Low!

Never have figured out why the car companies think that out-of-place 1950s fake wood trim fits in with a modern vehicle. :emotions122:

Mine is the darker shade of the 'wood grain' as opposed to that redish stuff in many of the newer ones so it doesn't look AS bad but I rend to agree with you...
