ok, so I got my 04 Z71 Tahoe started in the right place (i think)

But the headlights/bumper lights and rear tail lights are looking pretty worn.

Ive been browsing ebay for LED tails and clear/blk headlights and matching bumper (blinkers) lights and found these.

LED tails

headlights

So i need you alls opinions and other suggestions if any... Oh, and the headlights will have HID's along with the fog lights.

Added the LED Tails i listed above... I think they look GREAT! (3/24/2011) added. The pic doesnt do them justice though.

I have got a white suburban and am looking for the new headlights too. I got these tail lights from X3 racing and love them, I got the non-smoked version though. I see you are looking for a darker style combo. Let me know how the front turns out, I need to get a set and want to see a white truck with a darker style light.

Check out the tailights I like:

I like the LED tails but I'm more of a fan of keeping the headlights and parking lights stock for the most part.

Nice rig but If you go HID for lows you should get a nice set of projector housings with a nice cutoff so you don't blind oncoming drivers, imo. These are mine for example

Those tails look nice, they look similar to NNBS GMC Tails

Well lucky you the NNBS Tahoe head lights look nice and the black housing looks pretty sweet

i didn't necessarily mean halos but a set of projectors. The headlights you referred to in your post were just reflective housings that would blind other drivers if you put HIDs in them.

I just put the LED tails in our Yukon and it made a huge difference in cleaning the rear up. no more three color lamp and it looks alot like an escalade *** now with the backup light at the bottom and nice clean smooth lens.

our parking light/turn signals were starting to show some haze, even with low miles, but the area in frt of the DRLs were oxidized i was going to polish them out like i have other cars but found some brand new ones on ebay for 28 bucks so i just replaced them and it made it look new again. the headlights are still fine, but if they arent, stock replacements are cheap and it'll give it a factory fresh clean look w/o all the cheesyness of alot of the ebay headlights with projectors and halos and random LED dots and strips in weird places....

I think the tails that Kman has is the way to go cause I have them too along with alot of others on the forum. They are very clean.
I like to be respectful and not blind other drivers especially the old people(they're bad enough as it is).lol. But if you don't mind the blinding then go right ahead, blind away!

yea, they do look nice... but the thing is i dont want lights that everyone else has. Just trying something new/different. Still looking at headlights.
Will having projector headlights call for a change in bulb for the low beam?

Usually, projectors will require new style lows. Mine required H1s. Before you buy it might be a good idea to ask the seller what the lows will be. Good luck. Post pics when you decide.:happy160:

in my 01 z71 i had the clear corners and loved it. It would look real good if both the top and bottom were all clear then you just took the stock low beam and did a retro-fit with projectors/HID's. then the bottom light all clear.

I've got the same lights in mine in the original post with 6k hids and they do not blind oncoming drivers. Maybe if not adjusted correct or more than 35w bulbs they would.
