I wonder if this will work on 2020 fives too. Did you have to toggle a box to turn them on or did they automatically just work with the turn signal?

I tried the cabin glance it’s a cool feature. just push the 360 cam button and you can see the little trouble makers in the 2nd and 3rd rows lol.

Some are complaining of annoyances that came with the update that cannot be turned off or down such as louder door chimes and menu buttons. Anyone hearing this?

No but only had the update for a day.

Not sure if I like the turn signal activated cameras seems kind of distracting because it takes everything else off the screen. Annoying in city driving when you are making lots of turns.

I’ll leave it for now see if it grows on me.

Mine had SVR prior to this. I thought this update lets you see the cameras from the phone app. But I haven’t seen the app update yet.

Thats very exciting if it actually happens but I remeber taking to the Engineers at Ford about this because it was supposed to be part of FordPass App years ago. Their concern was the battery draw and how do they mitigate power consumption so the vehicle has enough voltage to start if the cameras are being remote viewed.

Possibly compress the video in some proprietary format to the cloud and the App pulls from there not the vehicle?

We also had our dealer upload the recorder cam function months ago but we don’t have the turn signal camera function as of yet. I’ll have to check for this pushed update when the weather lets up here.

Unfortunately only the 25 model year Escalades got that interior camera, the 25 model year Tahoe's/Yukon's did not. I was hoping the camera cable was in there and I just needed to buy the OEM camera and trim as its under $200 but no way to confirm.

Ok, thanks. I have not updated it yet. Already in hot water with the misses for adding a google profile and knocking out her Apply Carplay and other settings. It's her vehicle and I was trying to make the seats auto set based on which key we use. I think it was a simple setting for this in the options. I deleted the google profile but it makes her re-connect her phone each time. Hopefully it links more permanently with increased use. We have not driven it much lately.

I have a 2026 HC. Mine doesn't display. Is this active only when towing? Or is there some hidden activation needed? Thanks.

You can turn it on under vehicle settings. It works all the time when on (without trailer). You need the update I mentioned though for it to enable.
