I can’t tell you what he’s charge, but if it was me I’d probably charge you close to that $360 for the one but then do the two of them for like $550 or something because the prep for both can happen at the same time and the use of materials won’t be that much more

Mine blew off with the wind most likely due to the twist-lock fasteners being loose — I had no idea how that thing was fastened on as I never messed with it or even knew I had a trailer hitch there. Never had a problem with the second one that I installed and was 100% sure that the fasteners were properly engaged.

Okay, so when I install it give it a good yank to make sure it's not coming off. Check! Thank you!

Just wrapped up a 3800 mile road trip to Northern Idaho and back. Tahoe ran flawlessly.
I set the cruise control around 80 the whole way, rather than the 85 I did last summer.
Was impressed with the fuel economy I got 20.6mpg on the way up 19.7 on the way back.
Not bad for being weighed down with all our camping gear filling the back to the ceiling!

How was this mileage determined? By your on board GM server or your manual calculations?

Manual calculations.
My tires are 6% bigger than the factory size, so the speedometer is off, therefore the miles per tank is off by 6% as well.
However, when I do the manual math on the miles and how many gallons per fill up, it's normally almost exactly spot on to what the on board tells me once I convert for the tire/miles difference.

This morning I replaced the March 2023 Super Start Extreme battery with an AC Delco Gold battery. I had some sluggish starts over the past few weeks. With this being my wife’s daily driver and our tow vehicle, I would much rather change the battery in my driveway and at my convenience than anywhere else. I bought the battery from the Chevrolet dealer that is my employer’s sister store and got employee pricing on it.

Monday was a big day for the Yukon- I had the GMC dealer do a BG transmission fluid service. Once they were done with it, I drove it to the Honda dealer where I work and had an oil change and tire rotation done, as well as a new engine air filter. The air filter and oil filter are AC Delco parts. I used the DEXOS 0W-20 oil we have at work. I can’t remember the brand; it’s in a large box and we use it for GM vehicles. Our bulk oil is 0W-20 synthetic and 5W-20 blend; I wanted to make sure I used the DEXOS stuff because I have a warranty on the vehicle.

Finished a custom set of headlights with bi-led projectors, and blacked out the front end. More details on the headlights in my build thread if you're curious

May need to realign the headlights after some testing, they are 3" lower than the alignment point at 20ft but visually look too high

Just completed the wireless charger upgrade to the second generation. I scored a new condition 13521066 gen 2 charger off of eBay for $60 and it came with the plug. The Gen 1 and Gen 2 use the same color wiring scheme but the plugs (and individual female terminals) are different. If you try this mod, try to get a Gen 2 with an adapter pigtail or at least with a blunt-cut pigtail so you can match up and cut & crimp your truck’s existing harness. The bottom cover just pops off with a panel removal tool and the four screws that hold the charger onto the lid are T15 torx. Charger works great now! If only there was a way to get wireless Apple CarPlay without using some sort of off-brand CHICOM adapter. I’m very suspicious of using no-name CHICOM products that physically plug into or use wireless data with my mobile phone. Anyone here know of a reputable brand that has a wireless CarPlay adapter?

I did the upgrade as well. Pretty straight forward install, but performance only improved slightly. Not sure if it was worth the cost or not ($110)

A couple weeks ago I had installed an 6” BDS lift, Method 318, and Nitto Terra Grappler G3 LT285/70R18. I recently had the 75k mile service completed and while in there I had the Powerstop Z36 rotors and pads installed.

I don't know which ones he used but the 2010 police issue ones one's work great, yes they fit rockauto only markets them for 2009/2010 police tahoe's
I have them on the wifes suburban and my silverado, on the the yukon I have the erradispeed's, price might have gone up

These are the ones I got. I haven't done any actual A/B testing, but pedal feel is much better and they give me much more confidence in the stopping power over the OEM style pads and rotors I had previously.
