Corpus Christi to College Station: 27.8 mpg (no stops, few slowdowns, ~65 mph) full tank -> 600+ miles.

Whole trip so far (El paso, CC, CS): 22.7 mpg (all stops, lot of idles, drive trus...yada yada yada)

AC ON - 80F+ outside

Seems like doing on par with my pathfinder V6 (or better)

I’m surprised this post has 9 comments without someone pointing out how “inaccurate” the computer is. I’ve never actually did the math on paper, I trust the computer. Yours did excellent.

I record all my gas fills and do manual calculations. Computer is about +0.5 mpg than the manual calc.

I check my computer with a calculator most time I fill up my 2021 HC 6.2L. It is just about always dead on the number or within a tenth of a mpg. I can't say my 2015 or 2007 were even close to that accurate.

Well, you've got some comments now.

For me, my 07 is within 1 MPG, when I do the actual math versus the truck's computer, with and without the supercharger.

I am a little bit jealous, I manage 18-19 on my 5.3L but V8 only mode and I have the 3.08 gears whcih should be the best for MPGs but for whatever reason its not frequently hitting 20s. Yours is rocking it.

Wow..my 2025 Z71 Tahoe with 5.3 will get 16-18 at 75mph, and I drive conservatively.

All of the comments I’ve seen have never indicated that the cars computer needs to be recalibrated. Once you question the cars computer how do not question the gas stations pumps being accurate? (The stations in my area are always getting busted doing something :( ) I would imagine the people that don’t trust the computers mileage, are seeing a bigger difference than within a mile when they do it in pencil.

That’s awesome!

My 6.2l will get 23/24 mpg at 55/60 mph on flat smooth road.

Going up to 70/75 mph I might get 18 mpg on flat smooth roads.

Around town I am lucky to get 15 mpg

That's pretty damn good for a 6.2, IMO.
