I’m surprised this post has 9 comments without someone pointing out how “inaccurate” the computer is. I’ve never actually did the math on paper, I trust the computer. Yours did excellent.
I check my computer with a calculator most time I fill up my 2021 HC 6.2L. It is just about always dead on the number or within a tenth of a mpg. I can't say my 2015 or 2007 were even close to that accurate.I’m surprised this post has 9 comments without someone pointing out how “inaccurate” the computer is. Were the 15 and 07 off really bad?I check my computer with a calculator most time I fill up my 2021 HC 6.2L. It is just about always dead on the number or within a tenth of a mpg. I can't say my 2015 or 2007 were even close to that accurate.
Well, you've got some comments now.I’m surprised this post has 9 comments without someone pointing out how “inaccurate” the computer is. I’ve never actually did the math on paper, I trust the computer. Yours did excellent.
All of the comments I’ve seen have never indicated that the cars computer needs to be recalibrated. Once you question the cars computer how do not question the gas stations pumps being accurate? (The stations in my area are always getting busted doing somethingWell, you've got some comments now.
For me, my 07 is within 1 MPG, when I do the actual math versus the truck's computer, with and without the supercharger.
I'd say they were within 10% of the correct number. Not huge, but also not exactly accurate. Were the 15 and 07 off really bad?
That's pretty damn good for a 6.2, IMO.That’s awesome!
My 6.2l will get 23/24 mpg at 55/60 mph on flat smooth road.
Going up to 70/75 mph I might get 18 mpg on flat smooth roads.
Around town I am lucky to get 15 mpg
