Nice! Could you tell why it was broken?

So was this the 12v LT GRN reference wire that measured low as noted in your Post #48?
Not really. I was tearing my hair out but there was a slight bend that didn’t look right and a nick in the wire. I’m going to replace the whole pigtail eventually but it was that green reference wire.

Now to put the whole thing back together!

nice, broken/chaffed wires are a common issue which is why I stress to inspect carefully.
and to answer @LsHart the cluster on a gmt800/900 or previous is not going to cause a no start, it's basically a read-only system it doesn't even need to be plugged in (it can be shorted and cause battery drain)
on the 2015+ it is part of a "MOST BUSS" which links the radio/cluster/bcm, that could be a possibility on that newer system haven't really looked into it too deep, I think some of the all digital clusters have to be learned to the vin or it won't start or can cause a bricked scenario.

Super to read that you found the source of your issue, and that you've got a solution in place for now. Great troubleshooting exercise on your part.

Just another example of why this Forum ROCKS!

You stuck with it and fixed it. Nice work. How does it run and drive after all your hard work. Hopefully really well.

I was surprised looking at your listed codes, usually when you are testing as you did you will find many codes that are just low voltage codes, you showed zero of these or maybe you cleared those as you worked.

Any time voltage drops in a system it thows many codes. I have not determined exactly what voltage triggers the codes but if you drop below 12V codes start popping on many systems. They are not hard codes and will clear as soon as you get the volts correct again.

Hell, I'm not even sure what I was thinking! Lol. That's exactly why there are multiple people here to help and speak up. I'll do a burn out to make up for it. Lol.
