Ottocast Ottobox AI P3 can play video from the SD card in the P3, or from the Youtube TV app I downloaded to the P3. If you want any streaming, you will need wifi, otherwise the SD card will work for movies. I have less than $225 in the setup and another product I had looked at was around $400 and required something to be connected in the rear of the the AV system.

We still do this, there are no tablets or televisions in any of my vehicles and there never will be.
