Anyone know how to fix my headlights?

So here's the details. 2019 tahoe with factory halogens. Hit a deer needed new headlight assembly and thought I should upgrade while I was taking it apart. Ordered Amazon headlight assembly that claimed to be led upgraded. Installed them and flipped them on to find out two things. 1. Hibeams were still halogen. Nbd will address later. 2. That the low beams would not stay on. They come on for a second go out come on the go out for good. Not a flicker just out. Once in a while cycling the switch can make them stay on. Hibeams work all the time as well as led strips. Looked inside the assemblies to see they are hid not led. Spent the last month trying to get customer service from Asia about this. Assemblies came plug and play and appear to have built in ballasts. Ideas?

I got Anzo headlights for my 15 Tahoe, much better than the stock lights. LED hi and low beam.
The old ones hi beam ok, but low horrible.
Install required bumper removal, but worth it.

I have a similar problem. I rebuilt a total and had to replace headlights. I bought HID OEM equivalents on eBay. They will stay on until I start the engine and the BCM check is performed at which point they switch off. Hi beams are LED replacements and work all of the time. I had the original connector from one of the headlights so I hooked up a halogen on the drivers side and it stays on while the HID on the passenger side lights up and is turned off by the BCM. The halogens draw ~55W while the HID draws ~35W. I have ordered 8ohm 50W resistors to put in parallel with the HID ballasts. There are a lot of aftermarket harnesses for Dodge on eBay that are made to do this most of them are 6ohm resistors so apparently switching out the lights on a dodge is a popular move. I will report back what I find once the parts arrive and I try my fix.

You need a set of these, when the BCM is running it's checks it's not getting the correct values from the headlights. So these might fix it. Or replace them with higher quality lights.

Personally, my driver's side headlight has moisture an interior corrosion. I could fix it by removing the headlight, but if i'm going to do that, i might as well just replace them. so i plan on gettigng these here soon to upgrade my lgihts. I've spent thousands over the years trying various lights, HID, LED, retrofits, ect ect. Thankfully on dodges i can swap housings in 5 minutes...the suburban is a bit more in depth for housing replacement, as such, if i'm going to do it, i'm going to do it once. And for that, my answer is the moriomot XB housings. Excellent quality, excellent light output and beam control. it's not just about brightness when it comes to lighting, it's about overall quality and control of the lgiht and Morimoto hits the nail on the head
