L92's, L9H, L94... And everything else with VVT.... You have that groove in the camshaft to send oil to the actuator. I've always looked at it and see it as putting the load from the camshaft on about 30% less area of the bearing. Compound that with much of the oil that's headed to that bearing goes up and through the camshaft instead.... So by design that overworked bearing receives less oil than the rest of them. Lol, that's just my perception of it anyway.
