Got 47k for my loaded '21 HC, 58k miles from Carmax

Just an FYI in case someone needs a benchmark value. I took it straight to Carmax after picking it up from the dealer where it sat for 2 months waiting on a new engine. Carvana offered me 42k. It was in good condition with a couple of dings and scratches and the CEL on

What was the MRSP for this truck when you bought it. Would be good to see as a % of original sticker price (not what you paid) for depreciation purposes.

MSRP was 78k incl destination. No discounts in that market so I paid full MSRP. So 60% after 4 years not too bad.

Oof! $30k in 4 years is a little steep for me. I could by 2 or 3 good used Denalis for that price that I would drive for 4 years each. LOL

Just for perspective wholesale price average for this unit is 49,000 as of today. So thats a great price to get on trade.

And like I've said before outside of this forum the values have not been affected in any meaningful way. Not yet anyways. But I doubt they will.

That's not bad for a 4, pushing 5yo car. Miles will always knock the value down. It's not covid anymore where you could get 90%+ of the MSRP back even with those miles... back in Dec we traded in our 23 Z71, luxury pkg only, and 73k miles...got $46k.

That's very true, it's not that era anymore but in my rural area these things aren't just sitting on the lots.
