The traverse isnt too horribly small, but theres nothing like having a fullsize rig ! The cargo room in these newer short ones is quite underwhelming for sure, but still, the extra arm room and everywhere else…so worth it.

I like the Traverse but like you I love me a full-size Tahoe. The cargo room is excellent for a vehicle that can still fit into the average household garage compared to my other favorite vehicle the Suburban.

Revivify’s CarbonX Selfheal silicone-based resin which creates a hard carbon layer that’s also self healing.

That does look amazing!

When I was back in college in the 70’s I had a detailing biz - just a one man operation but I did well. Back then they were just starting to come out with new products but nothing back then beat a hand rub paste wax.

What is the “self healing” deal and how long do these coatings last before you have to apply another coat or something?

Thanks…It has a 5 year warranty, the link below has a lot of good information about the chemistry and how it compares to ceramic coatings.

Dang all these pics make me miss my Tahoe. Not sure I'd buy another after the engine fiasco

I added the K&N oil separator this morning. Very easy installation; took only 10 mins once I had the correct tools.

Sad day!! We traded it in today.

Down sized to a smaller SUV of a different brand. Wife is driving alot more for work and parking in parking structures so she want something smaller. Also the recall on the 6.2L and having to run premium fuel didn't help either.

The Yukon reached the southernmost borders of Russia, Dagestan, having traveled more than 2000 km in one go. The place is extraordinarily beautiful, where there is everything: the sea, and the mountains, and the lakes of extraordinary beauty :)

Just picked my 21 HC up after having a whining sound while running. Diagnosed as a trans problem. No worries, it has a lifetime powertrain warranty. Total repair was about $3,500 and I only paid a $100 deductible. GM#24056939 was the big ticket item. Of course it now has a new filter and fluid! Winning!

Good deal. How did you get a lifetime powertrain warranty?

I installed new R1 Ceramic pads, slotted & drilled rotors and a trip to dealer for new brake fluid exchange after the work was completed.
