Hit the 120K mile mark on my 2018 Yukon Denali that still looks like new. Been wanting the WeatherTech floor mats even though there are way cheaper options.

The quality & fit are excellent, time will tell on the function and durability.

These look great, thanks for sharing. Are these the standard floorliner or the newer HP liner?

I think I'll go ahead and get WTs for my Suburban. I have heard Husky is good too, but WT has all 3 rows + cargo mat (Husky does not make a 3rd row GMT900 Suburban mat for some reason).

I've had Weathertech floor liners for a number of years, and they are fine EXCEPT that the outside corners on the front liners curl up and away from the truck's body over time. I sometimes catch my foot on the curl, when I get into the truck.

If I were to replace these liners in the future, I would purchase Husky liners the next time, due to the curling issue.

I have several clients with ** liners in their vehicles and from a detailing perspective I love them. The material seems less porous than the previous WT lines and seem to clean up a lot easier. Also as far as I have seen with the clients that have them so far no curling has come about. Time will tell on that but I really like the new HP product line. I’m saving up for a set for my 2006.

WT and Husky both curl on second roll. NAPA are not much better. GM has the least issues.

I have the weather tech. They work good except the curling as noted. I have a lot of kids getting in and out and they get curled and some edges got bent underneath the door. Every once in a while I have to take them out and bend them back the other way b it it only lasts a while until the kids start going in and out of the car 20 times a day lol.

I've had WT for a few years in my Yukon.... The fronts have been fine. ( no curling).... I wish the cargo mat was a bit more stiff along the edges, but not a problem. I WISH they made a full size cargo mat, when the 3rd row seat is removed, and second row seats are forward. ( A full 8 foot length )..
Our 2016 Infiniti.... the front mats uses the factory 'clip' on the carpet to hold the mats in position, but the WT mat's rubber, that fits onto the carpet clip is not firm enough, so the mat moves a bit. WT sent me a free replacement. For some reason, the passenger side holds firm, but again,.... the driver's side still doesn't hold, as the first mat. But not much of a problem....

I don't mean to be an ass here; this is the kind of logic leap that catches my attention...

How do you determine the level of quality when the durability has not yet been established? It seems to me that durability is a basic ingredient of quality.

Quality & durability are independent. Something can be very durable but the fit & finish can be of poor quality with bad alignment or unfinished surface.

I don't see that. Fit, finish, and durability are all ingredients of quality.

JD Power distinguishes between 'initial quality' and 'overall quality', or something like that.
Lots of people buy things on initial appeal, that they'd never buy again,
because they have owned it long enough to watch the initial quality warp and fade.

I owned WeatherTech mats in my 95 Caprice.
Based on how they aged, I'll switch to Husky, once I decide which ones.

Me too. Same issue. My older W-techs did not do this.

I ordered my WT liners - 3 rows and the back storage area - days after coming home with my 17 Burb. Curling where the doors close in the 2nmd row is my only issue. Otherwise they are kick ass.

You just described a new home built by a large developer....
I've designed & had 6 personal homes built in the last 40 years with me doing some of the work. I've fired subcontractors for subpar work. You have to go to the buildsite daily.

Yup... I was a 'stand-in' on a hill top site as the superintendent. Built the final 3 homes. I had to baby sit the contractors. Kept them from being lazy. It's the last 5% of their work that makes the difference. And, don't leave their mess for the other trades to clean up, ahead of the next trades work.

Weather Tech is an AMERICAN business run here in the the good ole United States of America! I will buy from none other than Weather Tech. I want AMERICANS to work and be proud of their product. I saw my job at Ingersoll Rand go away. I saw Bethlehem Steel go away. KEEP AMERICA STRONG! BUY AMERICAN!

I hit mine with a heat gun last cleaning and it worked for a while. Gonna try a couple Velcro strips on the problem area next time I clean them and get a chance to shape again.

Attaching a velcro strip, onto plastic or rubber, may not hold for long. I added a couple rivets to the velcro strip, on rubber to hold it in place.
