my cousin has them on his 98 truck. they are badass and bolt up with no leaks. He got a offroad y made and it sounds like a damn cam is in it when he first starts it up. very old school sounding. i recommend them. he says he feels very noticeable gains from the shorties he had before

I highly recommend Pacesetter LT's. I got a pair on my Tahoe and I love them. I went straight 2.5" duals, no y pipe and no cat and it's going into a Borla muffler and dumped before the rear axle. Sounds so low and throaty.

But yeah you should get them, they are great headers especially for the price and I felt a good amount of power increase after I put them in. I should have gotten them ceramic coated, that was my only mistake.

Not a bad set of headers, especially for the price. Nice flange thickness and welds. The fit was great on my body style and I don't expect the quality would be any different with your model. The LTs will help with power and also make the sound of the cam more noticeable. I'm running LTs, no cats, and true duals into a pair of 40 series Flows.

I had them on my Tahoe with the catless 3 inch y pipe, and a single 3 inch all the way back. They seem to be good quality for the price, and they came with new bolts and gaskets. The install was not to bad either, they do go in from underneath.

How are you guys getting away with running no cats? here in CT if you get caught you get in big trouble, they even run mirrors under the car to check if ya got them.

Lol seriously? I've never heard of them doing that here in Michigan. Good thing they don't because I know so many people personally who don't have a cat.

But if you're somewhere that uses a sniffer as part of the inspection in conjuction with the visual portion of the inspection then chances are you won't pass.

Benjamin Franklin can take care of that. But if ou go to your mechanic regularly he should be able to take care of it. You should go to local car meets and mingle with the tuner crowd. They do have the hook-ups!

When we had the shop it was fun fooling the sniffer. One car on the dyno for inspection and the other one on jackstands to mimic the computer.

When it comes to header's it's Long Tubes or go home! On our OBS, our manifolds are pretty damm good! Pacesetter I had great experience with thier exhaust. But actually I hear 50/50 review on thier LT Header's. They are prone to rust. I just picked up a set of HEADMEN headers for cheap ($120) from a different website. I spent just as much for a set of FELPRO gaslets and the MOST IMPORTANT LOCKING LUG NUTS! Make sure those header's don't shift.

If you didn't buy the header's yet I can send you the link to a Pair of LT's forsale on a different forum. Just PM me.

I plan on doing m LT install with in the next week or so. Just need time off work and good weather.

Remember these will not bolt on...you will need to get your exhaust done! Do not get 3" Exhaust b/c you will loose low end power. I have a decently modded Hoe and even with Boost I was advised with 2.5" Exhaust.

Also, to keep back pressure even b/w the Header's look into an X pipe or a Crossover X Muffler (made by Dynomax) it has a Crossover Pipe built into it for vehicles that are tight on space.
