Just came "out of the blue" I have not contacted GM about this issue other than asking my service advisor if he had heard anything yet and the answer was always "nope"

Does anybody have any info. on what I need to do or what happens for the 4th qtr. retrofit for the park assist on my 2022 Yukon. Thanks for any info. You can give me or what maybe happened in your case.
Coming up on 1 year that we have been waiting for retro on park assist module. Someone needs to address this. Over a year is totally unacceptable and Someone needs to be held accountable.

I took delivery in March 2022 of my Yukon SLT and about a week ago received a folder/letter that said they were giving me 12,500 reward points and 6 months free Onstar for the "inconvenience" suffered by the shortage of parts to get my park assist and heated steering wheel retrofitted. But no time frame when and if the items will be done.
very interesting

btw, i got my Z71 22 tahoe in June 2022, still waiting for parking assist chips

Has anybody had any luck getting the park assist retrofitted?
Spoke to my dealer last week who told me the '22 Yukon retrofit has begun, but my VIN has not yet been authorized.
Build date July 22.

Mine was built in Feb 2022 and according to my dealer until you get the letter from GM and their system shows it as a "recall" they can not order the parts to do the retrofit as it is specific to your vin number so I like a lot of others are still waiting!

Yep, same here heading into 16 months and my service advisor whom I have had a relationship with for 20 years and I trust has done none on any Yukons but has done some on pickups. This is a large dealer here in Phoenix. Don't waste your time with GM as I have even went the executive GM route with ZERO help from them either!

I got my letter like a week or 2 ago and just had the front/rear parking sensors installed on my 2022 Silverado that I got April of 2022. Service manager said they were available in February but were never notified from GM

Yea I’m at 14 months I’ve called customer service a few times also but like you said, useless. a few months ago if true or not they did tell me that I am on the so-called list. Some how it did make me feel better. I guess all we can do is wait wait. Good Luck to you and if I here anything I will post

I actually have a 2022 Silverdo High Country w/3.0 Duramx.
I just like this furum better than the truck sites. I mainly "lurk" here
Oh ok I’m thinking maybe that means they’re doing Trucks first. And hopefully they’ll get to the Tahoes and Yukons soon. Thanks

Or it could be I have a High Country, it at least came with heated seats and steering wheel. I would have prefered an LTZ, but wanted the 3.0 Duramax and this one was on the lot.
