Dude electricity is the way because it can be renewable.

I dont know if i need to google your stats in Russian like you said but English Google says nuclear is more efficient than your claims. https://energyeducation.ca/encyclopedia/Nuclear_power_plant#:~:text=Typical nuclear power plants achieve, potentially reach above 45% efficiency.

Ev is being pushed because of the renewable aspect and overall efficiency compared to fossil fuels. And less emmisions come from those energy creation methods.

Not everything is a conspiracy. Misunderstood sure but not a conspiracy.

A wind turbine uses wind. Hydroelectricity uses water. Nuclear is almost limitless. These are not finite resources. That is the appeal.

Synthetic fuels are promising and may be a niche for some but it still produces emmissions. Hydrogen combustion seems promising too but currently not much hydrogen infrastructure.

Regardless I'll leave that here as the mods said we are getting off topic.

Escalade ev is coming. Should be a promising product for some. Im excited to see how it develops and how the tech trickles down into other things.
Did you read, that link?))
Typical nuclear power plants achieve efficiencies around 33-37%, comparable to fossil fueled power plants. Higher temperature and more modern designs like the Generation IV nuclear reactors could potentially reach above 45% efficiency.[6]

Could. Man, could potentially reach 45, now 30%

What is misinformation ? I source my material.

Electricity rates fluctuate. That's nothing new.

Seems there's a certain group here who revel in sensationalism and it isn't me. Just cold hard objectivity.

As an engineer that's what I'm paid to do so never been much of a bs'er.

Hopefully they offer the next gen with a hybrid. They have done it before..
:lol2:engineer. Durayuk, king of disinformation.

Enough time wasted on the basement dweller.

Escalade is coming and I’m sure it will be really comfortable and sleek. It will be an expensive toy that only a few can buy because they won’t make more than 100-200 of them, due to the battery tech being so bad. Unfortunately they will need 6k children to mine all the lithium needed for them. Oh my. Sensationalism. Nope. Truth.

You claimed 30. It's 33 to 37% that's 10%+ difference. With the potential for 45% and it's limitless.

Anyways good talk.

Thanks for the compliment, id love to live in my mom's basement. That would be the life. Hopefully the men in black don't come get us or shut off our electricity. Im shaking thinking about it and all the conspiracies I mean truths these days.

The truth comes out accidentally sometimes. Good job. I’m glad you were finally honest for once.

Lol keep it going man. What else you got? Gotta be a better way to deal than name calling.

Anyways back to the facts you said they will only build 100 to 200 because battery tech is so bad? Wrong again look at hummer ev production numbers https://gmauthority.com/blog/2023/04/almost-1000-gmc-hummer-ev-units-were-built-in-march-2023/

And tons reserved the Silverado ev. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/10/gm-has-170000-chevy-silverado-ev-reservations/

With that tidbit of knowledge id imagine the escalade ev to be pretty damn successful whether we agree with it or not.

Crazy i know.

I can't believe they are able to get any reservations on that silverado ev. That is one of the ugliest damn vehicles I've ever seen. Many evs are quite ugly, another turn off

Um no. No it's not. https://www.energy.gov/fossil#:~:text=Fossil energy sources, including oil, buried by layers of rock.

No one is here to convince you. If it doesn't work for you that's cool. No need to make things up.
A government website is not a reputable source when it comes to this topic, sorry
And the point to “electrify” everything is about control dude, it’s not more efficient, have u not learned anything the last 3 years? Why u think they wana ban gas stoves? So they can shut u off whenever they want, same with the EV’s, it’s all about control, none of this is “conspiracy” or “misinformation”

I can appreciate the mid gate design and it seems to have more range than the lightening. Curious to see how much range degradation it gets while towing.

But I agree it's polarizing..

Then the ram ev concept was super cool and production model got really watered down.

I don’t need anything else. You’re doing well proving my point, with every post you make. DuraYuk. The disinformation king.

So what should we be using? I linked three. What source are you using ? Similar to how the world is round i thought it was common knowledge that fossil fuels are non renewable. Crazy perspectives you two have. Would love to read what y'all are reading truly. Please link.

@DuraYuk dont believe everything u read on the internet, start with that.
I’m done here, your pretty well known on this site to everyone how u operate.
No doubt man. So internet is fake. Sources are fake. Inquiring minds want to know what's not fake? Id love to broaden my horizons. But if you cant say then that's saying enough.

As someone that has to validate my suggestions and work with research you need sources that hold up. Not all sources are created equal. Scholarly sources being the pinnacle as well as peer reviewed journals but those are harder to link here without active subscriptions by the members and the abstracts being harder to read.

Regardless automotive forums have helped me a great deal throughout my life. There was once a time where people would come for objective information. I do my best to squash misinformation before someone takes it as matter of fact. If proven incorrect or mistaken it's no skin off my nose to recant and correct. That's why I ask for sources.

But these days seems like it's more a popular opinion place and less about facts and objective data..

Of course, I reduced it by 10%, and you lied by 1.5 times .. So who is the bigger liar

DuraYuk, You always go to some general things, let's talk about the particulars ... I calculated above how efficient the train is, which consumes more than my Yukon. And I have gasoline, and there is also diesel, with a consumption of 10 liters per 100 km / h. There is something to object to on the topic of no one's fuel consumption of the train

The idea behind ev is the renewable aspect behind it. The renewable factor being electricity. We can go round and round man and respectfully this isn't really the place for that. I provided my sources and you laid out your claims.

That's really all we can do. I appreciate the dialogue back and forth hopefully some people learned some things or saw different perspectives. Take care.
