Man I'm sorry to hear about your Yukon. I wouldn't wish this crap on anyone.

Our insurance policies in America are slightly :supergay:

If you don't mind me asking...what year model and mileage?

They Totaled That at $7500...holy crap I'm screwed. That looks like hardly any damage. Why did it total. Was the drive train affected?

That looks like a fender, hood, Grill, Headlight support bracket, Headlight, Corner light. Bumper doesn't even look like it took a hit. That's maybe $2,000 worth of damage and your truck should be worth between $6,000 and $8,000. Sounds like you might want to get a second opinion on the repairs. Either way I wouldn't let them salvage your truck.

I talked to the body shop today and it looks like the frame buckled. Guess it's time to call it quits on the old girl. I could fix it but I don't think it's worth it. Guess I'm going shopping.

Sorry to hear this TogaPC, is another Tahoe in your near future or ?

I'm gonna try to get another Tahoe. It's just really what fits my needs right now. There's just not many other vehicles out there that I can comfortably fit my family in and still feel like a man while driving them.

I figure with the money from the wreck and another 2 or 3 grand and I can have something newer with less miles. I still haven't heard from the insurance agent yet. Still driving around in the stupid Mazda 6 they rented me. I hate this car...it's a freakin death trap.

I'll keep you guys posted.

That's kinda my thoughts but It's paid for and it ran great before the wreck so if the damage is mostly cosmetic I may just repair her and keep on truckin. If anything structurally or the drive train is damaged I think it will be time to scrap it and get something else. I really love my hoe but it's only a truck.

FYI forum...

I may have some 2 month old performance parts to sell if anyone is interested.
Corsa Sport CBE
Spectre CAI
plus tons of stock parts...cheap!

As with old yeller...she's my truck...I'll put her down.

Sorry to hear about the accident. How much do you want for the Spectre CAI?
