Hey everyone!
My name is John, I'm a machinist/welder/fabricator/mechanic with 20 years exp.

I enjoy building fast/one off vehicles, and recently picked up this minty 1994 chevy blazer gmt415 4x4!
Truck had approx 120k miles, I got it from a friend's father after it had blown up an older built 350..

Truck is now on its 3rd owner, I got it as a roller, and always wanted to build one!

My plan was to find something to swap one of my LS engines I had been acquiring over the past year, turbo, and learn to tune with a terminator to 1000hp..

This truck ticks all the boxes and have kept it 4x4! Check it out!!

The drivetrain donor is a 2008 sierra 1500 with a 5.3 ls and 4l60, and 96k on the clock..
Motor had amsoil in it since new!

The donor was a no start at my buddy's shop for the past year ..

The truck was too rusty to continue to dump money into, and therefore I was given the opportunity to come pull the drivetrain!

Went down to my buddys saturday just after lunch, and by 6pm that evening had the donor looking like this!

I suspected a corroded harness/computer being the reason for the no start, and had found some evidence of that being the likely culprit along the dismantle

Got the s475/96 looking right at home in the ol girl!
Along with a 4" thick core intercooler tucked in perfectly behind the grill

Any bets on how long that factory ring gap would hold up if I left the 96k mile 5.3?

Going to be installing a holley I/O expansion on the terminator x-max shortly so I can install some accessories.. trans brake, 2step, some sensors, e-fan control, and a few other odds and ends..

Also going in will be SEC1500cc injectors..

Will probably run this thing off a mixture of pump 93 and e85..

Recently installed a holley Terminator x-max, and a holley drop in ck sending unit with 525lph pump,
And universal fuel filter along with a aeromotive FPR, 5/8" feed line, and 1/2" return using gates rubber fuel line..

Finally got the ol girl loaded up on the trailer and brought it home today, so I can do some more work in the leisure of my home garage without having to move it out of my shop everytime we get a delivery..
